Sales Analyst - Walmart & Sam's Club

About the Position
You will provide analytical support to the Walmart & Sam’s Club Sales Team and support our Growth Mission. In addition, you will develop and maintain weekly & monthly business reports, providing analysis and insights on business trends back to the team for actioning. You will directly support the team in preparing fact-based selling stories to grow our business. They will manage the forecasting process via supporting the customer promotional planning process, reviewing Upfield forecast vs POS trends and Walmart Supply plan, entering forecasts into Upfield’s system, meeting all internal deadlines and maintaining accuracy, ensuring the team hits internal deadlines and maintains strong accuracyc, and supporting the team and leader with ad hoc business requests.
So what does it take to be successful in this role?
You must must be organized, curious, articulate and data driven by being proficient and comfortable utilizing multiple systems, including internal Upfield data, Microsoft Office, Nielsen, IRI, and customer specific/ shopper databases (ie Walmart & Sam’s Club’s Retail link & Luminate), inventory and forecasting to simpligy data and acticulate clear insights. You'll thrive in working in teams on projects and be a master of prioritization of your workload. While teamwork is prevalent, you'll demonstrate an ability to work independently, take proactive approach to understanding the business via good influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills, including verbal, written, presentation, and a strong business acumen and ability to make recommendations based on the data. It will help if you have 2+ years of analytical experience in a similar role. There will be some travel to national sales meetings, our customers for business reviews and market visits.
