Regional Sales Manager - East - Foodservice

About the Position
We are currently recruiting for an Eastern Regional Sales Manager for our Foodservice Team to drive business development across our entire portfolio of organic and plant-based products. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end Foodservice business within a defined geography. The scope of this role will manage the Broadline Wholesale and regional broker sales network, and end-user demand generation across the channel (FSR, LSR, other chains, and independent commercial restaurants, non-commercial). You will strategically gain new points of distribution through managing trade activity, trends, and sales support throughout the chain & independent operators, broker network, wholesale distribution, offer DSR training tools and product selling approach for Brokers, Wholesalers, and Distributors emphasizing our products and their unique features and benefits, managing a robust sales pipeline of independent and multi-unit end-user operators across all segments of foodservice (Pizza/Pasta, LSR, Beverage, FSR, Hotel/Lodging, Non-Commercial, etc.), participating in negotiations, programs, and promotions, to achieve our volume and margin objectives. You will be reporting to the VP of Foodservice.
So what does it take to be successful in this role?
You will be a success in this role if you have built and managed effective relationships with top-tier Broadline Distribution (Sysco, US Foods, PFG, DOT Foods, etc.), and regional specialty distributors both independent & large. In more detail, specific channel experience selling Operators, Foodservice Wholesalers, Distributors, and Brokers with experience and knowledge surrounding the dynamics associated with large multi-Unit commercial chain operators (Non-Commercial, Limited-Service & Full Service) will be a plus. It will be crucial that you can travel 50% of the time domestically in the US.
