Supply Planner - Corlu (On-site)

A Supply Planner will be responsible for analyzing the supply and demand of products (Finished Goods) to ensure that inventory levels are optimized, and customer needs are met. Develop and maintains a robust supply plan utilizing data from multiple sources. Work cross-functionally with Demand Planning, Purchasing & Production teams to ensure one plan aligned by all parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the monthly S&OP process, inform team about latest supply picture, highlight major risks.
  • Analyze inventory levels: Monitor inventory levels and adjust ordering plans as needed to ensure that stock levels are maintained at appropriate levels to meet demad forecast.
  • Coordination with internal teams: Work closely with production, logistics, and demand planning teams to ensure supply plan.
  • Plan and prioritize productions to ensure maximum performance and optimum stock level
  • Determine the raw & pack materials required for production process and to ensure everything is in place for production
  • Set target safety stock levels, track total inventory to make sure stock levels are in line with the target
  • Proactively identify potential slow moving inventory, provide visibility in excess inventory by root cause analysis and follow up necessary actions to deplete the excess inventory
  • Track write off data and make sure all actions are in place for depletion
  • Supplier management: Work with suppliers to ensure that they are meeting delivery timelines.
  • Performance analysis: Analyze supply performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies for optimization.
  • Risk management: Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, such as shortages or delays in product delivery.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on supply and demand trends, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Close cooperation with production team, sales team, and other supply chain functions (purchasing, planning, logistics, customer service & master-data)
  • Work on supply chain projects and deliver end-to-end supply chain improvements for the customer supply chain

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

  • 2+ years of Supply Chain experience in FMCG companies
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Be familiar with supply chain management software (SAP, MS Office Programs) and be comfortable working with large amounts of data.
  • Fluent in English both writen and spoken.
  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or a related field is typically required, and relevant certifications such as APICS can be beneficial.
